Admission will be on a case-by-case basis. Our school is designed to support children with special needs, and often, those needs include behavioral support. We expect that many of our students will have behavioral challenges and plan to have staff who are trained to support them in an environment that is safe and provides "calm down" areas.
That said, we are unable to provide 1:1 support at this time and will not have the capacity to support students with exceptionally challenging or unsafe behaviors, or students who consistently disrupt the ability of the teachers to teach and other students to learn.
Laurel Wreath Academy's primary objective will be to support students academically and to help them development independent life skills. We will not be providing a behavioral program at this time.
Students' BCBAs and RBTs are welcome into the classroom, but we are unable to provide those services directly.

Annual tuition will be $20,000. We will be accepting Step Up For Students Unique Abilities scholarships. Please be sure to apply for the Unique Abilities scholarship, and make sure that your child's matrix score is up-to-date and that it includes all of your child's diagnoses and support needs, as that is how your scholarship award amount is determined. The matrix score comes from the Florida Department of Education. Please contact your local ESE Liaison for more information about your child's matrix score.
We plan to serve students in grades K-12.
